Pastor Craig
Dr. Johnson is an Evangelical Protestant clergyman. He is the founder and Pastor of Bethel Christian Fellowship in Agoura Hills, California.

Early Life
Craig felt the hand of God guiding his life from a very early age. Born and raised in the small town of Fairmont, Minnesota, Craig received a vision from the Lord at 4 years of age, and received Jesus as His personal Lord and Savior when he was 12 years old.

Craig was signed to a Capitol Records recording contract at 13 years of age. To facilitate his music career, Craig and his family moved to Los Angeles, California. He appeared on many television shows, performed on stage at the original Grand Ole Opry, as well as touring in the U.S. and the Far East.

It was during the early Jesus Movement of the 1970's, as his career was rapidly on the rise, that Craig heard the Lord call him to ministry. He walked away from his entertainment career, and dedicated his life and talents to serving the Lord. His early ministry began with God using him in healings, and deliverances, which opened many doors for ministry opportunities at a young age.

Ministry Highlights
Craig's ministry is best characterized as a balance of “meal and oil.” His early ministry comprised gifts of the Holy Spirit combined with a solid foundation of orthodox Christian theology. His ability to communicate Biblical truths with humor, insight, wisdom and practical application bring God's word to the hearts of His people in ways that transform lives. Craig also preaches and teaches in Nigeria with Dr. Ebenezer Obey and Pastor Afolarin Obey of the Decross Gospel Mission.

Craig's ministry includes the broadcast and print media. Craig is currently the host of two weekly television programs: Another Cable Show about God and The Veritas Forum, and he has authored three books: Nehushtan: The Enemy of Revival; The Alexander Code: Alexander the Great and the Hidden Prophecies of the Bible; and Tardemah: The Deep Sleep that Awakens Your Dreams. He was a guest for ten years on KABC's Religion on the Line with Dennis Prager (Los Angeles radio station 790 AM). Craig now uses his talents as a singer, composer and musician to serve the Lord.

Craig leads from his own shortcomings and disappointments and believes that no matter who we are and what we've been through - Christ has paid the price for our shame through the cross once and for all! His challenging message to all is forgive yourself and "use your life to change a life."

Academic Accomplishments
Craig is Theologian in Residence at Chalcedon Academy in Agoura Hills, California. He was adjunct Professor of Ethics at Shepherd University in Los Angeles, a senior lecturer for the Biblical and American Archaeologist, and is a contributing writer to Sacred History Magazine. Craig has served as Professor of Philosophy at California Pacific School of Theology in Glendale, California, and Associate Professor of Christian Apologetics and Ethics at California Graduate School of Theology.

Craig has earned the following degrees:
B.Th. (Bachelor of Theology) ;
M.A. (Master of Arts in Biblical Studies);
D.H.R. (Diploma in Human Rights - Strasbourg, France);
F.C.A. (Fellow of the International Academy - Strasbourg, France):
FINS (Fellow of the International Napoleonic Society);
Fellow Sacred History Society;
D. Min. (in Christian Apologetics);
PhD (c) (Philosophy and Theology)

Craig is available for retreats, special seminars, classes and pulpit opportunities. He also enjoys leading archaeological and historical tours of the ancient world: Israel, Greece and Italy.

Craig resides with his family in Moorpark, California. To hear some of the 4000 sermons Dr. Craig now has available for iPod downloading go to, click sermons and enjoy.

Doctinal Statement

Bethel Christian Fellowship stands in solidarity with the historic Christian faith as embodied in the Apostles' Creed and the Nicene Creed and popularly expressed by the following statements:

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His Ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life forever and they that refuse life unto a resurrection of self chosen Eternal Quarantine apart from God forever.

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Mission Statement

Our mission at Bethel is to be a church family committed to God's worldwide work of restoration, healing and salvation.

Such reconciliation with God begins through an acceptance and confession of Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior.

The sacred commitment signals an end to our spiritual and emotional isolation and marks a new beginning of true relationship with God, others and ourselves.

Since learning God's Word (the Bible) and sharing the love of Christ with one another is of paramount importance for personal transformation, the leadership of Bethel is dedicated to teaching God's Word, as well as providing a secure and loving environment conducive to both spiritual and emotional growth.
